  • Oversaw $7.5M revenue cycle operations supporting cochlear implant patients in every US state - working with all state Medicaid plans, Medicare and Commercial Plans (including Medi-Cal).

  • Established policies and procedures to drive down $550K in over 90-day AR for a boutique dental practice within 3 months.

  • Managed a 54-person administrative team that met all financial targets for over 48 consecutive months of employment (supporting all dental specialties, including oral surgery, oral medicine, oral path, and TMD pain management).

  • Automated revenue cycle reports for patient financial services to report metrics, measure success, expose areas requiring more manpower, and improve processes for working accounts through the creation of a SWOT analysis.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, master's degree in public health administration, master's certificate in healthcare management

  • Prior experience and expertise achieved from roles such as Core Functions Director, Coding Operations Manager, Reimbursement Manager, Senior Practice Operations Manager, Compliance Auditor, and Provider Coding Educator

  • Certification in Epic CDM (charge description master)

  • Certified dental AND medical biller and coder

  • Certified educator with experience teaching at the high school and collegiate levels
